Beginner Scarf Knitting Pattern

Chunky Scarf Pattern

Hey friends! Burr it’s cold again in Tennessee and I love chunky scarves.  I have a pattern for this simple beginner scarf in my shop. Click the link above!

Cozy scarves and #handmadeknitsbytracy bracelets can match๐Ÿ˜

Hand knit bracelets are knitted cuffs that hug your wrist so nothing hard is touching the skin.
The best testimony I have been told was when a teacher at a blind school told me she wore her bracelet so her students could “feel” the soft cuff but the letters were metal and the student could tell it was her by the bracelet. ๐Ÿ’™
How great that our God is there in the seen and unseen in our lives.  Just look for Him in your life. He is there.

I love seeing how you wear your bracelet and what it means to you! Share your bracelet photos or your scarf you knit! I would love to see them. Tag me on social! I will share your photos

Blessings and stay warm!

What I Get to Do!

Hand Knit & Hand Stamped Bracelets

I love creating custom knit bracelets for you guys.
I love beginning something new and selecting the colors. Just like every new beginning there is an excitement and possibilities of what you can do with it.  Our master creator, God, created us like that and gives us a “new beginning” doesn’t He? He knit us together to bear His image, to be His representatives. (Gen. 1:27)
God made us perfectly imperfect for His glory.

Nothing I create is for my fame but is to make Jesus famous!
I want to share the gift I have been given with y’all everyday I “get” to be creative๐Ÿค— ๐Ÿ™Œ๐Ÿป

What has God given you that you “get to” do?

Blessings friends

What is Spiritual Discipline?

Pray Hand Stamped & Hand Knit Bracelet in my shop!

What comes to mind when you think about spiritual discipline?

Do you think of a set rules or things that maybe you don’t think know how to do? Or maybe you don’t even know what spiritual discipline is?  I will share as a young believer I didn’t either. We use these words as we grow in our faith and then we forget that other believers may not know what we are talking about.
When we became a believer in Jesus Christ, He expected us to continue the road of faith learning more about Him in His Word and through prayer.
This was something I did for awhile as a young believer then fell off quickly into the mind set of I attend church, I listen to the pastor, and prayer happens there and that’s it.  I never took it farther or read the Bible for myself to dig into it deeper and know what it says for myself instead of what someone else was telling me it says but to grow spiritually we must practice discipline kinda like an athlete training. We can’t grow in our faith or more in love with Jesus if our hearts are only focused on our work places, sports activities any idol that we hold more dear than God. We need to practice the spiritual disciplines such as thankfulness to our Heavenly Father, Meditating on God’s Word, Praying and Fasting(this will look differently for everyone and fasting doesn’t happen as often.)

As I am ending this weeks #makeyourhomeahaven bible reading Daniel chapter 6 was a good one. Daniel was an extraordinary spirit, trustworthy and without fault. Wow! Daniels character sounds perfect.  I can’t help but want to be called an extraordinary spirit☺️ Don’t you? Daniel’s trust in God through men’s jealousy and then imprisoned in a den of lions๐Ÿ˜ณ well in this chapter it shows us how Daniel did three of the spiritual disciplines. He walked by faith and knew God would rescue and deliver him. How? He was strengthened through prayer and his petitions were heard. It is the same for us. Lord, let us be changed daily and have trust like Daniel. God through our trials and weaknesses will be glorified. I am so thankful there is no lion in my life bigger than my God๐Ÿ™Œ๐Ÿป

Have a great weekend friends!

Good Morning from the Garden

Good Morning friends!

As gardeners we love to grow things but we must tend the soil put in good nutrients and give the right amounts of water and plant the seeds.  The plants will grow although each at their own pace and differences.  This parallel to our own lives fascinated me and really gives me new perspective every time I am in the garden. I have learned so much in this first year of gardening and I haven’t arrived at a place where I am “good.”  I see it as a lifetime of tending the soil and growing but the Master gardener who is perfect shares His wisdom with me and I find rest and enjoyment for my soul by the work of my hands and heart.  I grow as the plants grow with stronger roots everyday, little by little.

Who else is dreaming of the garden?
What have you learned?

Lettuce bags are going in today in my very tiny greenhouse.  I will try to share more later.
