Lessons Learned In My Kitchen

Happy Saturday!

Sourdough baking was intimidating to me for years. I use to think it was too hard for me to figure out but I tried it one day and then again and again. That was the trick was to keep trying out the recipe. I like a challenge and this year has been that for me but the joy it has brought to me has far out weighed the do overs. Sometimes the kitchen is where I find creativity and see God bring joy to me. There are many things we don’t get do overs in life but I like that in the kitchen if I keep going back to the recipe and trying I can get something created like these bagels:)

“So Jesus again said to them, “Truly, truly, I say to you, I am the door of the sheep.”

‭‭John‬ ‭10:7‬ ‭ESV‬‬

Following God will always bring us to goodness if we keep following His Words. It may take us awhile to get there because of our own selfish paths we follow before we realize Gods recipe is far better and will produce something good.

Thank God for do overs and His mercy. Lessons learned in creativity are great if we keep following the One who created everything.

Jesus is Enough!

I have asked God what should I do?

Just like the men asking Jesus in Luke 3, “what should we do?”
This year already it’s ran through my mind but rather I want to ask how am I living for you God?

Jesus answers by telling us to give generously, love fiercely and bear fruits in repentance!
It’s with a repentant humble heart Jesus is glorified. There is no magic answer to what this life looks like or  your goals except I know that He wants our life and actions to magnify His name!
Amen๐Ÿ’—

Bless you today friend-

September Positivity Scripture Challenge Day 10

Happy Friday friends!

It is Day 10 of the Positivity Scripture Challenge

“Heal me, O LORD, and I will be healed; Save me and I will be saved, For You are my praise.”
‭‭Jeremiah‬ ‭17:14‬ ‭NASB‬‬

Another verse that tells us we have so much to give praise to God for.  Praise is something we can do to show our love and honor to God but it also helps our attitude.  Just this week, I gave praise to God because I have seen His goodness shown through healing of a loved one and the healing of my brokenness. This may not be a physical healing for some But Jesus is still good. He provides exactly what we need.  Jesus brings us closer to Himself through the weakness and suffering we face.
What are you struggling with today?
Pause & Praise Jesus for the strength He provides!

My prayer is that we have an attitude of praise today.   Praise and Glory to the King of our lives!

Truths to remember about God-

•God is healer

•God is provider

•God is faithful

•God saves and sanctifies us

•God is holy

•God is constant, never changing

Blessings this weekend to you!
I would love to hear below in the comments your praise!

Are you Praying BIG!

Hello Friends!

Gods word always changes my worry into worship. Hebrews 4:16 says come confidently to God and He will give us mercy and find grace in our time of need.

Are you praying in confidence to our Heavenly Father? He wants all of our heart, mind, and body and our Big Prayers to Him that if He isn't in that thing your praying for or about it will not work, be healed, or happen in our lives.  We have to give it all to Him in confident prayers.

My WHY

I started creating bracelets that encourage women began about a year and a half ago when I needed to be encouraged during a season of life that felt like I was suffocating and drowning in the pit of parenting struggles with teenager. Have you felt that way before? Or maybe you are there now? I can tell you you are not alone friends. Prayer and God's Truth is where you can find an ever present help, always ๐Ÿ’ž

His Word fed my soul and words just seemed to leap off the page and I wanted them to wear daily. So I began this dream to create bracelets using my God given talent, knitting and the need for scripture to be in front of me and you guys have blessed supporting me and more importantly God has used you guys to encourage me when I doubted in myself.

So today I pray for the mother, sister, wife, friend and woman who needs to feed her faith and not the lies, pray big to our Heavenly Father.

Grace to you friends!
