Do you think of yourself as an ambassador for Christ? Paul tells us we are in 2 Corinthians 5 that those that are in Christ we are ambassadors. When we die to ourselves and are living in Christ we are reconciled, made right, with God.
I never thought of myself as a representative for along time in my life. I thought the preachers and well known teachers were really more along that title. It wasn’t until God showed me how much influence we have when we speak of Him and let Him work through us.
I started to teach children and youth when I was in my twenties and they longed for a listening ear and a friend. It was this eye opening blessing of awe. God taught me along the way that you just need to be available to share His Word. I wasn’t the best teacher but I tried to be there when the kids needed me. Isn’t that the memories that last from your childhood? Mine were teachers that said, hey I can pick you up for church. Need a ride home today?
Ambassadors are representatives. Christ followers represent Jesus Christ. Don’t let fear or any lack keep you down today! Our confidence to be ambassadors is from the Lord. (ππ³π°π·π¦π³π£π΄ πΉ:πΈπΌ) I am keeping it on my hand to remind me today.
By the way, my lunch time this week has been my devotion time. π #keepingitreal
